BISHOP AUCKLAND (BAFC) V MIDDLESBROUGH (Boro)
WEDNESDAY 14.07.21 AT 1900 HOURS.
Bishop Auckland FC (BAFC) are pleased to announce details of the forthcoming home friendly at the Voneus Stadium with Middlesbrough FC (Boro).
The match will be all ticket with a crowd capacity of 975. Ticket details are as follows:
Prices will be £12 for adults/concessions and £8 for under 16’s.
50% of the nett gate receipts from the match will go to Boro Team Manager Neil Warnock’s chosen charity ‘The James Cook Children’s A & E Appeal’.
The first release of tickets will be (in person only) to BAFC season ticket holders, sponsors, Supporters Club members and shareholders. BAFC will check off your details at the point of sale. Each person will be limited to 2 tickets, and a contact telephone number will be required.
The second release will be (in person only) to partner clubs/teams such as BAFC Under 18 and Under 23 teams, Bishop Auckland Ladies/Girls as well as Bishop Auckland St. Mary’s players and staff.
Third release will be (in person only) to the public.

Middlesbrough will be allocated 450 tickets for this game. Details of how Boro fans can buy will be available from MFC later this week.
There will be socially distanced (alternate) seating available in the (covered) main stand as well as the two seating areas at the petrol station end. There will be no reserved seating in any of the stands but BAFC will endeavour to give priority to disabled, infirm/elderly fans. There are 4 specific disabled seating areas in the main stand.
The total number of socially distanced seats available on the night will be 275.
Car parking.
We regret to say that those BAFC fans with reserved car park spaces for season 2021/22 will NOT be able to access their slots for this game. A very small number of car park spaces will be available for a short period prior to the match but spaces will be extremely limited and to avoid disappointment we do recommend that wherever possible you utilise public transport.
Covid 19 Requirements.
Whilst we hope you all have an enjoyable experience watching the game there are still COVID 19 rules which we would ask you to observe:
Before attending the game.
Everyone is required to complete a self-check and if you have any symptoms of COVID 19 please do not attend. Symptoms can be found on the Gov.uk web page.
Upon Arrival.
Firstly please try and arrive early for the 7pm kick off.
Turnstiles will be open at 5.30pm.
To speed up gate entry please could you ensure your track and trace slip on your ticket has been completed with your name and contact number.
All four turnstile gates will be open for admittance to the ground. Due to the numbers expected to be in attendance please maintain social distancing when queuing, keeping two metres apart. We also recommend you wear a face mask.
Please use the hand sanitiser facilities before you go through the turnstiles and use as often as required in the ground.
Inside the ground.
There will be no reserved seating anywhere for this game. Alternate, available seats are clearly marked (where you can and cannot sit) and we would be grateful if you please use the seats that are not taped off.
Social Distancing must be always maintained, with groups of people being no more than 6. Under no circumstances should there be huddles/large groups of people.
When queuing for food in hospitality areas, please ensure you are two metres apart and we recommend the use of a face mask. There will be an additional catering hut available for food and soft drinks.
Please dispose of rubbish in the bins provided and use hand sanitising facilities.
When using toilet facilities – no more than two people will be allowed at one time. Please ensure that hand hygiene guidelines are followed. Only the outside toilets are in use to spectators.
Only one person is allowed entry into the Club Shop at one time. Face coverings are required and please use the hand sanitiser available.
Please note that only soft drinks will be available in the outside bar but once the game is finished and all the players are in their respective dressing rooms, alcohol will be served in that area.
The first floor function room will be closed for the duration of the evening.
After the game.
In the event you display COVID 19 symptoms up to 48 hours after leaving the premises then please contact the Club in order that all Health and Safety procedures are followed.
