Bishop Auckland FC is pleased to share that live streaming is returning across the Trident Leagues this season via ClubberTV, giving supporters more ways to follow non-league football at Step 3–4.
What’s happening?
Over one hundred Southern, Northern Premier, and Isthmian League fixtures will be streamed between 11 October and the play-off finals. Access is via ClubberTV with a £12.99 weekly pass or £29.99 monthly pass.
Why 11 October?
The Trident Leagues selected 11 October because it falls on an international week, so UEFA Article 48 does not apply and kick-offs don’t need to be moved. Clubs have also nominated midweek slots and other international dates for streaming, and some Saturday games may shift (with agreement of both clubs) to Friday nights or 12:30/5:30 pm on Saturdays.
Opening weekend fixtures
The first live games on ClubberTV are scheduled for Saturday, 11 October:
- Walton & Hersham vs Wimborne Town (Southern League)
- Poole Town vs Weymouth (Southern League)
- Guiseley vs Ilkeston Town (Northern Premier League)
Financial boost for clubs
For streamed matches, a four-figure rights fee is shared: 75% to the home club and 25% to the away club.
What they said
“We have chosen 11th October because it’s an international week, so UEFA Article 48 does not apply… Each league has consulted with its member clubs… with some Saturday games moved to Friday nights, 12:30 or 5:30pm.” — Joint statement from the Trident Leagues
Jimmy Doyle, Founder & CEO of ClubberTV, added:
“We’re enthusiastic about showcasing as many games as possible over the next three seasons… We’re looking forward to getting the right tone and voice to amplify these great games in the UK and worldwide.”
