Penrith v Bishop Auckland

Recap

From the kickoff, Bishops took the game to Penrith with some excellent football. Henderson opened the scoring in eight minutes prodding the ball home. Three minutes later, Metcalfe in the Penrith defence headed the ball into his own net from cross to the far post from Risbrough.

On the half-hour mark, Giles made it 3-0 with a low shot on target. Another goal by Henderson saw Bishops 4-0 up by halftime.

The second half saw Penrith pushing forward a lot more, but rarely troubling the Bishop goalkeeper. After some neat passing, Johnson made it 5-0 giving Taylor no chance with a 62-minute strike. Bishops underlined a fine display of passing football when substitute Charlie Watt came off the bench to wrap up a well-deserved win with a powerful drive in the 88th minute, giving Taylor no chance in the  Penrith goal.

This win took us to 2nd place,3 points behind Shildon in the League table.
