James Fairley produced a majestic performance to help Bishops run riot against a young Penrith outfit.

A blistering start saw James Risbrough (left) grab his fourth goal of the campaign when he lashed home from a corner after just two minutes. Craig Gott fired against the underside of the bar and further good chances fell to Whitfield and Fairley, with the latter forcing Taylor into an excellent point blank save.

On 30 minutes Craig Gott worked Taylor into producing another fantastic stop from his free kick and just two minutes later Bishop’s dominance was rewarded when Mills was barged to the ground in the box. Gott calmly slotted home the penalty as Taylor dived the opposite way.

At times Fairley was simply toying with the Penrith left back and three minutes from the break another of his mazy runs produced the end product the home support were craving, a nonchalant dink (right) which sailed over the helpless Taylor.

Dale Milburn replaced Burlace for the second half and within seven minutes was on the score sheet as he received a return pass from Fairley and stroked in a low shot.
Penrith was in danger of being completely blown away, Gott smashing in with a slight deflection after the ball was played to him from the left-hand side.

After firstly Fairley struck the bar from distance, then Milburn followed up with a powerful shot which also rattled the frame of the goal, Bishops settled into the final quarter of the game seemingly content with the score line.

The disheartened visitors conjured up several half chances, but Bishops were able to claim the bonus of a fourth clean sheet from six games so far this season.
