BAFC TV is offering exciting new roles to continue its filming and editing of this season’s games.
The Role
Bishop Auckland Football Club is looking to further expand our growing media team with a volunteer videographer to share the role with existing members of the media team, who will have the opportunity to both record and edit Bishop Auckland FC’s matches as well as post-game interviews to be posted on our YouTube channel.
Duties and Responsibilities
We’d like somebody to operate our recording camera during home games so experience in camera setup and operation, as well as filming sport would be well suited, though not essential as training and guidance will be given. Good technical skills or an interest in cameras and camera operation would also be beneficial to the candidate, given the nature of the role. This role would be well suited to a student on a media/broadcast learning path and looking to gain some hands-on experience.
Required Skills
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Excellent organisational, punctual and time-keeping skills
- The ability to, or the willingness to learn the setup and operation of a video camera
Additional Details
The club play games on Saturday afternoons and some Tuesday evenings, of which the volunteer will only be required to record home games at the moment. Each game will require around 3 hours of your time for setup, recording of the game and post-game interview recording with editing time being variable. The club will be appointing multiple people to allow for flexibility and cover.
