Wednesday was the final evening of the Schools Sports Partnership Year 3 and 4 Local School Football Tournament.
Having a great time at the AJS Stadium at Heritage were 15 schools with plenty of young talented girls and boys in attendance.
After the 3 weeks of competition Cockton Hill Junior School were triumphant, with St Anne’s in runner up spot and Howden Le Wear in 3rd place.
Well done to all schools competing.
As part of the annual non league football weekend, Bishop Auckland FC have offered all children participating in any of the three evenings free entry to the ground on Saturday to come along to watch and support Bishop Auckland FC host Sunderland RCA – 3pm KO.
