Signed in May 2026, Vinnie Steels returned to Bishop Auckland following a previous loan spell with the club.
Vinnie had already made a strong impression during his earlier time at Heritage Park and returned with a clear desire to work with Martin Gray again. His career has included experience with Sunderland, York City, Stockton Town and other clubs, giving him a strong football background and plenty to offer in attacking areas.
A direct and creative forward player, Vinnie brings pace, confidence, ability on the ball and a desire to create chances, score goals and help the team win.
