Joe Gibson signed for the Bishops in October 2025. Midfielder Joe started his career with Middlesbrough FC Academy at the age of 9 and was a regular with the under-21 side, making over 100 appearances. Joe also played for the first team, having made his debut for them in the FA Cup third round tie at Mansfield in January 2022. He also played in the Carabao Cup against Barnsley. More recently, Joe has had spells at Darlington FC, Whitby Town and Newton Aycliffe FC.
