Signed in May 2026, Alex Nelson returned to Bishop Auckland as a more experienced and rounded player.
Having previously spent time with the club earlier in his career, Alex came back after developing his game across spells with Crook Town, Newton Aycliffe, Guisborough Town and Whitby Town. His performances with Whitby earned strong recognition from supporters, including Supporters’ Player of the Season.
