Following the conclusion of our 2025/26 campaign, Bishop Auckland Football Club can now confirm its retained and released list.
After a difficult season which ended in relegation, the club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to all players for their hard work, commitment, and dedication throughout the campaign.
Martin Gray joined the club in January and came very close to keeping the Bishops in the NPL, with survival going down to the second half of the final game of the season. However, the time has now come for Martin to bring in his own players and put his stamp on the squad ahead of the new campaign.
As a club, we remain determined and ambitious to return to promotion contention. Unfortunately, this means significant changes to the playing staff as we begin the process of rebuilding and moving this great club forward once again.
We will be announcing numerous new signings over the coming weeks as part of that determined effort.
