Bishop Auckland FC is dedicated to collaborating with the local community and welcoming young individuals to participate in safe, enjoyable physical activities.

In our search for a Community Sponsor, our loyal and long-standing club sponsor, Richard Cooke, CEO of Comtek System Solutions has stepped up to support our cause. This support enables us to offer community programs that are inclusive, accessible, and affordable for all.

Catherine Pearson, the club secretary and community event organizer, expressed her gratitude by saying, “I am delighted Richard has come on board as Community Sponsor, his valued support allows Bishop Auckland FC continue and expand its community program. We are all hugely grateful and appreciative of Richards kind and generous continued support. This assistance will allow us to provide complimentary beverages during the Schools Sports Partnership league football program. Ensure every child receives a hot meal or healthy snack and drink at our proposed Holiday Club, and leave with a memorable keepsake. It is important we work closely with our local community, whatever the age group. Our new walking football, part of our adult program allows our senior community members to socialise and take part in a fun physical activity, whilst we recognise our younger children are our future”.

Richard Cooke, the owner of Comtek, commented “Becoming the community sponsor is a privilege as it further supports the Football Club and acknowledges Catherine’s devoted  efforts towards the local community. The organised events attract many young individuals along with their parents and are enjoyed by all. Overall, it’s an excellent cause to support over the next 12 months!”
