Bishop Auckland FC will be supporting their u23 Reserve side sponsor “Bishop Trains” as they raise funds to install a memorial bench at Bishop Auckland Railway Station.

David Million, owner, of Bishop Trains, sadly lost a much loved colleague and member of his team. Jamie Dowson, lost his brave battle to cancer in June. Jamie had been involved with SDRYT (Stockton and Darlington Railway Youth Team) from 2016 before progressing to Bishop Trains.

As a permanent tribute to Jamie, Bishop Trains aim to place a bench on the station where he volunteered and worked and enjoyed spending his time.

Bishop Auckland FC will support this by holding a bucket collection at their home friendly v Goole on Saturday 17th July. Donations can also be left at the catering hut at the Voneus Broadband Stadium. Any additional funds will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust in Jamie’s name.
