It is with great regret we have to inform that due to the Corona Virus affecting Chris Burns business’ in the town, he has had to shelve his plans for opening the Bishop Auckland Brewery Ltd for the time being. This virus has obviously hit the pub businesses very, very hard and Chris is keeping his pubs open as best he can and he is still supporting the club with bar staff and alcohol – for both of our bars. Chris is a fantastic supporter of the club and we hope this pandemic gets under control soon and Chris gets back on his feet after investing a massive amount of time, effort and money into 5 businesses in the town.
As mentioned, Chris is still supporting the club with bar staff. He has had to move resources to the core of his business so he can come back stronger when we get through this!
The good news is; we will be very shortly announcing a massive, new, London based main sponsor for the club!
