After an unprecedented level of interest in the vacant First Team Manager’s position, Bishop Auckland Football Club are delighted to announce that Chris Hardy has been appointed to the role.
Chris has enjoyed a hugely impressive managerial career with over one thousand games under his belt, a number that includes 9 years at Guisborough Town, followed by a 5 year spell at Northern Premier League side Whitby Town before taking a break from the game in October 2020.
BAFC Board members have stated “Chris exudes confidence and professionalism. We are convinced that these qualities, allied to his vast experience can take the Club to new heights. We are extremely happy with this appointment and can now put our difficult start to the campaign behind us with everyone at the Club looking forward to better times on the pitch”
Chris added “I’m delighted to have been given this opportunity to manage Bishop Auckland Football Club, the infrastructure at the club is second to none and along with the support and backing from the board, I feel that everyone at the football club should be excited for what the future holds”
Chris officially start his role on Saturday 16th October 2021.
