A chance for revenge we welcome back Middlesbrough’s U23s who you may recall inflicted an 8-0 defeat on us last summer.
Still in the game at the break, conceding just two goals in the first period, the Two Blues would go on to let in another six after the break so Bishops boss, Ian Chandler, will be looking for a more accomplished performance this time around.
Current standing in the U23s set-up see’s known names like goalkeeper Aynsley pears (who’s spent time on loan at both Darlington and Gateshead), former Shildon midfielder, Lewis Wing, and ex-Newcastle United starlet, Marcus Tavernier (brother of Rangers’ captain, James Tavernier) among others.
Middlesbrough U23s will visit Heritage Park on Saturday 20 July, kick-off will be 1pm.
