Bishop Auckland FC (BAFC) are pleased to announce a formal partnership Her Game too.
Her Game too was founded in May 2021. A voluntary campaign led by a team of dedicated female football fans who are passionate about creating a positive change in football and the wider sporting world. They aim to raise awareness and educate others on the importance of inclusivity and diversity in sports.
Bishop Auckland Club Secretary, Catherine Pearson states:
“The work that Her Game Too has already conducted is fantastic and all of us at the club are incredibly proud to have been accepted as partners and fully support and endorse their work to date.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of Bishop Ladies Secretary, Jackie Cleminson, we now have 3 ladies teams all competing at different levels representing the Club around the County and we want everyone to know Heritage Park is a safe and inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of ability, race or gender to enjoy their football.”
By becoming the latest partners, BAFC hopes every club will partner with Her Game Too.
As a club, we want to enable the brand to flourish and spread the word that football needs to be inclusive to all, eradicating sexism and misogyny in the game.
