Middlesbrough U23s continue their quest for Premier League 2 success this season when they host their Reading counterparts at Heritage Park tonight, kick-off at 7pm.
Having drawn 1-1 with Burnley on Sunday in the Premier League Cup, this evening’s game will see the Boro welcome Hayden Coulson back to the fold, assessing an injury which has kept him sidelined since August.
Speaking of the game, Coach Graeme Lee (above) told mfc.com that: “They (Burnley) were a different side to play against because they were direct and physical, and it was a contrast to the teams we come up against the league.
“Reading will look to play football and so will we. I’ve been pleased with a lot of aspects of our play this season, but it’s important that we keep working hard and improving what we do.”
