Heritage Park is the venue tonight for the Premier League Cup last 16 tie and it promises to be an exciting game between two talented sides. Both teams qualified from second spots in their group; Boro behind Derby County, Liverpool behind Bristol City,
In qualification for tonight’s game Boro won three games and had three defeats whilst Liverpool had three wins, two defeats and a draw,
Boro Under 23’s are managed by lead coach Paul Stephenson with Liverpool Under 23’s being managed by Neil Critchley.
Paul Stephenson commented on the Boro website today that “there’s no reason to think anything other than this could be a really good cup tie. I expect this to be full on, a good and very competitive game.”
The tie has to be decided on the night with kick-off at 7pm; admission is £3 for adults and £1 for Juniors with admission free to Boro Season Card holders.
Full catering facilities are available within the ground but fans are asked to note that the Colin Rowell Suite is only open for ‘Lounge Ticket Holders’ before the game and at half time. The suite will however be open for bar facilities for all after the game.
Before the game we will be selling 50/50 draw tickets with the income split between the winner of the draw and the MFC Foundation.
The MFC Foundation works with some the poorest and deprived areas in the country and delivers sport, education, enterprise and social inclusion projects and has a great impact in the community.
