The Birth of the Blues football exhibition, which tells the story of Bishop Auckland Football Club, will be open to visitors at County Hall, Durham, from Tuesday, March 15, until Wednesday, March 23.
The exhibition covers the club’s early days and its links to Auckland Castle scholars. It was previously on display at Auckland Castle last summer.
The display, which has been put together by Durham Amateur Football Association, is free and will be open from 8.30am to 5pm on Mondays to Thursdays, from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Fridays and from 9am to 12.30pm.
There will also be a film and talk with former players on Saturday, March 19 from 10.30am to 12pm. Anyone interested in attending should email email@example.com
Visitors are welcome to use the restaurant and speak to reception staff to gain access. A limited number of car parking spaces are available, alternatively the Park and Ride bus service is available.
