RYDER BECOMES A TWO BLUE

The club are delighted to announce the signing of Shaun Ryder from fellow Northern League side Consett AFC.

Shaun who was with Consett for a full season joined the club last night and can play centre midfield or centre defence, the 25 year old’s previous clubs include Consett, Marske United.

Also joining the club is Warren Byrne who will be working with the club strikers as well as registering as a player to provide cover during Andrew Johnson’s recovery to full fitness and Ian Ward’s injury.

On signing both players Bishop’s boss Colin Myers said “Shaun brings quality and experience to the side, Warren could prove invaluable to the development of our young strikers McAloon and Goundry. Warren has always scored goals during his career and is still good for a goal if required.”

Both players will link up with the squad for training tonight and will be available for Saturday’s game at Morpeth.
