Bishop Auckland Football Club are delighted to announce a new PR partnership with local freelancer, Peter Mann (Inside Mann Media & PR; pictured left with iconic North-East Sports Journalist, John Gibson).

Peter will be working closely with the club’s backroom team to increase the flow of news, history and all things Two Blues for you, the fans; he also has good connections with the first team having known manager Ian Chandler for some years.

Peter has been involved with local media for over a decade now starting in non-league with his home club, Esh Winning whilst continuing to build himself and his portfolio.

With a degree in Sports Psychology form Teesside University Peter is also the Press Officer for the Northern Football Alliance, a post he has held for the past three seasons and one he intends to continue working; he has covered sports, music and theatre throughout the region, the country, and beyond in recent years.

“I am delighted, honoured to be asked to join a club of the stature of Bishop Auckland Football Club” Peter told Bishop Auckland Football Club.

“The history of the club is a very distinguished one and I’m itching to get started on what both parties hope will be a long-term project.

I feel I have unfinished business in the Northern League and what better place to do something positive than here, at Heritage Park.

Above all I’m looking forward to working with all levels of the club, on and off the field, be they first team, ladies or junior sides.

They all matter!”

In welcoming Peter to the club, Chairman, Steve Coulthard, stated: “I am delighted Peter has agreed to come on board and I’m looking forward to working alongside him moving forward.

“We are aiming to promote in the media all of our teams as well as the clubs fixtures, history, sponsors and our superb facilities.”
